Blush Pinks

Skirt/Hijab/Cardigan: H&M // Tank: Target // Necklace: Zara // Purse: F21 // Shoes: Charlotte Russe

This spring/summer, I think blush pink is going to be my go-to color. I have accumulated so much of this color while shopping recently and I can't wait for the weather to get warmer to match the color. What will your spring/summer go-to color be??

Punk Plaid

Top: H&M // Pants: J. Crew // Purse: H&M // Shoes: H&M // Watch: Kate Spade

Saturday was the two year anniversary of my blogging adventures. I can't believe how time flies so fast and how much my blogging has evolved. I spent the day cleaning up around the house and running around doing errands that I can never seem to get to during the week. Those type of Saturdays call for casual comfy outfits. I love plaid shirts but they're usually short. I recently came across this long one at H&M and had to have it! It's so versatile because you can wear it with jeans/pants and tennis shoes or spice it up with some heels! I definitely recommend this top to everyone who loves plaid!

The Golden Birthday

Skirt & Purse: H&M // Necklace & Hijab: Boutique Overseas // Coat: Converse via Target // Heels: Dubai - Can't remember the store right now sorry!

Better late than never right?.... My birthday post! Back in the day... like January 24th, 1990, I was born in the amazing city of Tehran, Iran. Fast forward to 2014, I celebrated my 24th birthday on the 24th of January, my 'golden' birthday, with some of my closest friends- basically Family. I was in the middle of busy season at work but my brother managed to get everyone together to celebrate with dinner at my favorite place ever... Cheesecake Factory! You think I'm joking? Cheesecake factory is where I have spent so many of my birthdays for as long as I can remember, not to mention all the other random outings my girls and I had there, I just love it! A fun dinner full of good food, friends and laughs, just wanted I needed to start off 24! Alh.

For those of you who don't know, I have two brothers- one I live with in Philly and the other lives in LA so he wasn't able to make it for my birthday, understandably. They did manage however to get me the best birthday gift ever... the most gorgeous Michael Kors purse! You can see it in one of my previous posts here. The funniest part of the story is my brother accidentally text me instead of my other brother and said "no she already has a Tory Burch purse"... and I knew something was up haha. But I love it, even though they still think I'm just being nice about it... ladies tell them it's a nice purse! Had to share the funny story!

Madinat Jumeirah

Top: New Look // Jeans: Nordstrom Rack // Shoes: Toms

Recently on Instagram, one of my followers asked why I hadn't posted my Dubai pictures on my blog. The reason I took so long was because as soon as I got back from Dubai, my busy season started and I didn't have the time to post as much as I wanted. Now that I have more time, I'm going to start posting my pictures from Dubai! During my time there, I was able to meet the amazingly talented and beautiful Melanie, the brains behind Haute Hijab. We spent the day talking, walking and eating! Melanie and I walked around my favorite place in Dubai, Madinat Jumeirah, and then we went to Johnny Rockets for lunch so I could try their burgers for the first time (since all the food in Dubai is Halal). It was such a fun day and I can't wait to go back and see Melanie again!

My Week in Food

Breakfast for me includes two eggs over easy cooked w/ pam and one slice of toast with half a grapefruit and a light & fit greek yogurt. All this is 317 calories and has a total of 28.5g of protein which is more than enough protein to keep you full until lunch time.

A typical lunch for me is baked chicken, baked veggies and plain yogurt. If you follow me on Instagram you will see pics of my meal prep I usually do on Sunday nights for my brother and I. It's really easy and quick which is why I love doing it. All I do is put some chicken breast in a bowl, add olive oil and any spices I want, mix it up and throw it in the oven at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. The veggies require the same method, throw any type of veggies you want (the more green the better) in a bowl and add some olive oil and any spices that you want and bake in the oven at 375 degrees for 45-60 minutes depending on how soft you want the veggies to be.

Dinner usually consists of adding baked chicken as described above to a mixed green salad. The good thing about a salad is you can add any type of toppings you want, but you have to be careful to not go crazy on certain things like cheese and dressing because there is a lot of room for picking bad options when it comes to those.

As many people requested, I have finally got around to recording a video on my weight loss journey and some basic tips and tricks for others who wanted to hear what worked for me. Let me know if you have any more questions and I can definitely work on another video!

Red & Black Lace

Top & Necklace: Zara // Skirt: Mango // Purse: Tory Burch

This past weekend my brother and I attended an engagement party for two of our friends. As I didn't have time to go shopping, cocktail attire called for my favorite lace skirt & this red & leather trimmed top from Zara. Although my outfit was last minute, I loved the bold red and was happy with the finished look.
