Dawud Wharnsby - All of Us

For those of you who haven't had the chance to see this new Dawud Wharnsby video, I wanted to share it with you. It was such a great experience to be a part of this and to work with Shihan of Shihan Pictures to portray the vision Dawud had for this song. Growing up I'll never forget listening to the song 'The Veil'. To this day, I still remember all the words, and when Shihan reached out to me to be a part of Dawud's new video, my brother and I immediately starting singing the lyrics to 'The Veil'. It was a great honor to be a part of Dawud's newest video and it was also even more exciting to be able to do it with my best friend Lauren! Make sure to watch & share the video!!

Leather Trimmings

Top: H&M // Pants: J. Crew // Boots: Bare Feet // Purse: Michael Kors // Watch: Kate Spade

After working 90 hours this week, it felt great to finally get out and do my own thing. I spent the day doing some shopping and running last minute errands as well as grocery shopping for my weekly food prep. Stay tuned for more blogging as my busy season finally winds down! :) Sorry for so many pics, I couldn't narrow it down!!!

Sunday Treats - Chocolate & Pretzels

Before I left for my trip to Iran & Dubai, I wanted to make some treats for the teams I work with at work as a little holiday gift with the cards I gave them. I made one of my favorite recipes that is so easy but so tasty! All you need is a bag of waffle pretzels, and any type of chocolate topping you like. I picked mini peanut butter cups, different types of hershey kisses and andes bars all topped with M&M's. All you do is line up your pretzels on a baking sheet, add your toppings and throw it in the oven at 250 degrees for a couple minutes till it is starting to melt. Once it's to a melting point, bring the tray out of the oven, and top each with a M&M while pushing the topping down. Put the tray in the fridge for cooling and hardening, and after it's all cooled down, you can enjoy them right away or bag them in goodie bags like I did! Just be aware that different types of topping take more/less time to melt, so just watch them while they're in the oven!

This makes for a perfect Sunday Funday activity! I hope you all enjoy! :)
