Featured Friday: Lauleh

This featured Friday is someone I hand picked myself for many reasons- my good friend Lauleh. This girl right here has so much style and class I don't even know where to begin! She ALWAYS looks good and has the most fun outfits I've seen yet. Fun bright colors paired with perfect accessories whether it be a statement necklace or fun rings to match. If you are looking for outfit inspiration for a night out or a day at work, she has got every look for you. Make sure you check out her blog to get to know more about her and see more of what she's been up to!!

Maxi Blues

I tried to post consistently while I was in California last month, but I didn't get around to posting as much as I wanted to which is why I'm posting this now! While I was there, I was able to celebrate my Aunts birthday which was full of good food, company and laughs! I will say, one of the perks of visiting my family in Cali is being able to raid my cousins heel closet! I rarely bring heels with me because I know I can just go to her closet and borrow anything! I am wearing my cousins wedge heels to fancy-up the maxi dress!

DIR Denim Dress Review

Dress: DIR Fashion // Hijab: H&M // Necklace: NY&Co // Purse + Sandals: Michael Kors

I received this floor length jean dress from the lovely Bushra of DIR Fashion and was immediately on the hunt for the perfect accessories to complete the outfit. The dress is so simple and fun that you can really pair it with anything, but I chose to stick with blues! The fabric of the dress is very comfortable and easy to move in, I just would note that the dresses run small in my opinion. I'm wearing a Medium and it was a bit snug up top. Overall, I love the dress and hope you all head over to their site to see what other great things they have to offer!

Wedding Black & Gold's

Dress: Mango // Hijab: Target

A few weeks ago, I headed back to my home state of Michigan for my friend Heba's wedding. I'm sure most of you know her already as she is 1/2 of 'The Jay Sisters'! The wedding was sooo beautiful and I had so much fun. From the gorgeous centerpieces, to the amazing food & bridesmaid dresses, everything was perfect in every sense of the word. Not to mention, how radiantly beautiful Heba looked. She was glowing the whole night and I am so happy I was able to be there to witness it all! :)

Arima Tank Review

Tank: Arima Designs // Jeans & Cardigan: H&M // Sneakers: Converse

If you are someone who loves a good graphic tee or tank, like me, you will love the array of designs by Arima Designs. I first came across their work at FFF and got to meet the lovely lady behind it, Thoraya. I instantly connected with her and fell in love with so many of the designs they had on display. I finally picked this face art tank because I thought it was so unique and fun- hijabi related and spunky at the same time. I love when I'm able to meet the creator behind a design because it makes it that much more personal to me. Make sure to support a great company and check out their Etsy to get your hands on one of their designs! Also follow them on Instagram!!

Side note: while in San Diego, Fati took me to Darband for some amaaaazzingggg Iranian food, I had to share the pictures, I'm sorry if you're now salivating behind your computer screen. Then we found a really cool graffiti area with this 'San Diego Lowrider Council' backdrop. Loved it!
